Central Coast Surf G07 Elite came together in 2017 as CVSC Real G07. Some of the goals the coaches discussed when they started Real was to create a fun and challenging environment where girls could work on their individual development while learning what it means to play within a team atmosphere. The ultimate team goal was to one day earn their invitation to play in the CSL Premier Division and develop players who can play at the college level. Fast forward eight years later and this team still has the same core group of players who began back in 2017 when they were playing 9v9. Some amazing players have joined the team over the past several years and the team has shown a lot of success on the pitch, winning more than 15 tournaments and playing in three State Cup/National Cup Finals. The team is full of talented young ladies, we had two players make the Surf Select National team who played in Ireland and Morocco. We had three other players make the Regional Surf Select team and were able to compete in a tournament. We also have 4 players who are playing on the Cal South ODP team and another player just named to the ODP West Region team. Many of our players have the desire to play soccer at the college level and are currently going through the recruitment process. As hard as these girls work on the field it is the team bond and chemistry off the field that has truly brought out the team's success. Since 2017 these girls have won over 130 games and successfully won first place in CSL Bronze, Silver, Silver Elite, Gold and most recently were named CSL Premier Finalist. Our team is now concentrating on college showcases and other tournaments to allow our players to be seen by more college coaches.
